Successfully co-directing since 2001, Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell have a wealth of collective experience between them. They bring to 2AM an infusion of comedic sensibility, killer timing and the extraction of deadpan performances from both actors and non-actors alike.

Whilst at 2AM Joel and Jamie have been BTAA Shortlisted for their Snickers commercial ‘Street Fool’ and their Marmite ‘Love Party’ was shortlisted for Best Performance at the 2010 BTA Craft Awards. Most recently they have shot a series of commercials for Currys, continuing with the Star Wars theme and starring R2D2 and Chewbacca.

Their TV work has also met with great success and they have been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award and BAFTA nominated for the series drama ‘Cast Offs’. Their latest to air is comedy Pilot “Rick and Peter” and a series of comedy sketches with Jazzy Movement for the BBC.

Joel and Jamie met at university, they are both musical and play instruments, they have both acted and they both write and edit. As a duo they tend to divide duties right down the middle both taking an active part in all the processes and steps directing involves.
