Walking in they see the lastest Installation at the Louis Vuitton store by artist Michael Landy. A Credit Card Destroying Machine. Cheryl obliges the machine as ‘who cares this is fun’ and there is always Ashley's card for the shoes. For the rest of us who might have a few spare cards from years of numerous credit transfers get down to Louis Vuitton on New Bond St, shred them and experience some art from one of the hottest convention-breaking Young British Artists. The machine also uses pens and an A3 pad to create the abstract drawings which Landy is giving away. The new shop, called Maison, has “the collector” as its theme, and there are other works commissioned including one by Turner Prize winner Chris Ofili.
